A-Tach Mounts Limited Warranty


A-Tach warrants the product to be free of all defects in materials and workmanship for a period of six (6) months from the date of purchase. This warranty extends to the original buyer. Damaged products caused by anything outside of shipping damage are not covered by this warranty.

Within the period of this warranty, A-Tach has the option to repair or replace the item or refund the purchase price. Any replacement parts will be done on an exchange basis. All repairs and service must be done by A-Tach. The Product must be delivered to A-Tach during the warranty time along with proof of purchase price and date. The shipping and packaging costs will be the buyer’s responsibility. Labor costs and parts to repair will be A-Tach Mounts responsibility.

A-Tach Mounts will not be responsible for any damage to the vehicle or product due to the installation and/or use of the product. A-Tach is not responsible for damage caused by extreme heat conditions.

Any of the above exclusion may not apply in states that do not allow the exclusion or limitation. This warranty gives the Customer specific legal rights. The Customer also may have other rights which vary from state to state.

Returns

Before any product may be returned, A-Tach must give prior approval. An RMA# (Return Merchandise Authorization Number) needs to be given to the buyer to return a product. All returns must be within (30) days of the invoice date and include proof of purchase. Any returned product must be undamaged and in like new condition. Returned product must be scratch free with no additional holes or screw marks on the product.

A-Tach reserves the right to withhold any refund if the product is believed to be damaged when returned. A return should include a copy of the original order or invoice. All parts and components that were shipped with the original product must be included with the returned product.
The shipping and packaging costs will be the buyer’s responsibility.




Regarding Shipping Services

The A-Tach warranty can repair or send a replacement product if a product is defective. A-Tach can also do a return for refund when a product is sent back unused, undamaged and the mounts is not screwed into.

Shipping is a service that is provided by an outside source. Once a package is scanned as delivered, A-Tach mounts is not able to refund the original shipping cost due to the service being performed or provided. A-Tach also does not supply return shipping labels. A-Tach Mounts' products are not sold with and do not include a return shipping service. This helps to keep the initial prices lower for all our customers. So, the buyer does not purchase the ability to have the product returned to A-Tach for them. The shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility.

When a product has been purchased in good faith and has been ordered correctly, receiving a good product is what the buyer should want because that is what the buyer has purchased. That is the agreement A-Tach makes with the buyer. For this reason, if a buyer receives a faulty product, (it can happen) sending a new replacement product is always the best, quickest and easiest solution. Sending a new replacement product provides the buyer with the product they wanted and purchased. A-Tach Mounts is happy to send a new replacement product if a product was received defective or damaged or possibly gets damaged while installing the product. The buyer ordered a product, and the buyer should receive the product they ordered.


What happens when a buyer changes their mind?

When a buyer changes their mind about wanting an ordered product, for any reason, and a return for refund is desired, it can be done. However, at that point the return shipping should be at the buyer’s expense and not the company selling the product. There are many reasons for this. Here are a few:

  • If the buyer did not change their mind, they would still want the product and a new replacement product would be sent.
  • If the buyer did change their mind about wanting the product, the buyer should pay for the shipping and not the selling company. The selling company offered a replacement and did nothing wrong to merit the expense of shipping the item back.
  • If a buyer ordered the incorrect item and realized it after they received the product and then does not want to pay for the return shipping, the buyer could simply break the product and say it was broken when they received it or attempted to install it or say it doesn’t fit or does not work. Sadly this can happen and when it does the buyer should either receive a new item of the same product or pay for the return shipping for a refund. However, when a buyer does order the incorrect item, they will not want another of the same incorrect item sent to them.
  • If a buyer just wanted to test any product they think might work on their vehicle, even if it is not designed for their vehicle, the buyer could simply order any product to test to see if it will fit. Then say it was broken when they received it or attempted to install it, or that the item doesn’t fit or is not working properly. Sadly this can happen and when it does the buyer should either receive a new item of the same product or pay for the return shipping for a refund.
  • A buyer could simply order the items they want to use for a trip. Then, after the trip, the buyer could say it was broken when they received it or attempted to install it or it doesn’t fit or does not work properly. Sadly this can happen and when it does the buyer should either receive a new item of the same product or pay for the return shipping for a refund.

These are just a few of the reasons why the A-Tach warranty and return policy is set up as it is. If it were to be set up any differently, it would leave the door wide open to much potential destructive activities from buyers ordering irresponsibly without any concern for their activities. Also, competitors could take serious advantage of poor free shipping policies and place many incorrect orders to hurt a company with excessive shipping costs.

All that said, A-Tach will be happy to send a customer a good and tested new product if that is what the customer would like. If the customer has changed their mind about wanting the product, we will be happy to refund the order when returned in like new condition. We do not provide return shipping labels because the return shipping labels are not purchased with the products.
