The Volvo VHD, VNL and VNR are designed for different commercial jobs. The VHD serves vocational and heavy-duty work applications, the VNL is designed primarily for long-haul transportation, and the VNR is optimized for regional and urban routes. Compatible models share the dashboard design and mounting location required by A-Tach Mount 50459.
Vehicle-specific fit is especially important because these trucks may have either an open storage compartment or factory displays and buttons in the same general dashboard area. A mounting base designed for one configuration may not fit the other.
A-Tach 50459 attaches securely to existing dashboard seams in the location shown in the product photos. This is a dash mount—not a vent-clip mount—and it does not attach to the vent louvers. Installation requires no drilling, dashboard panel removal, permanent adhesive or special tools.
Four predrilled holes in the standard AMPS pattern allow the base to accept many compatible phone holders. Choose a clamp-style holder for broad phone and case compatibility, a magnetic holder for quick placement, or a wireless-charging or MagSafe-compatible holder for supported devices.

The Volvo VNL received a substantially redesigned cab and dashboard during 2024, so this mount’s VNL compatibility ends with early-2024 trucks. Verify the production version and dashboard configuration rather than relying only on the model year.
