Add fast, precisely aligned wireless charging to your vehicle with the A-Tach Magnetic Qi2 Wireless Charging Phone Holder. This Qi2-certified holder uses strong magnets to align a compatible phone with the charging coil while delivering up to 15 watts of wireless power.
Pair the holder with an A-Tach vehicle-specific dash mount designed around your vehicle’s year, make, model and dashboard. The two-part system gives you a secure dash mounting location and the freedom to select the holder that best matches your phone.
An A-Tach vehicle-specific dash mount is required and purchased separately.
What Makes Qi2 Different?
Qi2 combines wireless charging with magnetic alignment. Proper alignment between the phone and charging coil helps create a more consistent connection and reduces the positioning problems that can occur with conventional wireless chargers.
This holder is Qi2 certified under Qi ID 20799 and supports compatible charging rates of 15W, 10W and 7.5W. Actual charging speed depends on the phone, its software, case, temperature and available power source.

MagSafe-compatible iPhones beginning with the iPhone 12 series can magnetically attach to the holder. Charging speed is controlled by the phone and may vary by model and software version.
For a compatible phone or hard case without a built-in magnetic ring, one thin adhesive steel adapter ring is included. It must be accurately centered around the phone’s wireless charging coil to provide a secure magnetic connection without blocking charging.

Strong N52 Magnetic Hold
Built-in N52 rare-earth magnets help keep a compatible phone securely positioned during normal driving. The circular magnetic array aligns the phone with the charging surface without requiring adjustable side arms.
Simply place the phone against the holder to attach it and pull it away when leaving the vehicle. The open design provides easy one-handed access and does not cover the phone’s power or volume buttons.
Glass Charging Surface
The smooth glass face creates a clean appearance while helping transfer heat away from the charging area. It also allows the phone or compatible case to sit flat against the charger for proper alignment.
This holder does not have a decorative light ring and does not light up during operation.
Check Your Phone Case Before Ordering
Qi2 charging and magnetic holding work best with a Qi2 or MagSafe-compatible case. Thick or poorly aligned cases may reduce charging performance or weaken the magnetic connection.
Cases with wallets, solid metal plates, finger grips, kickstands or other accessories between the phone and charger may prevent wireless charging. Very thick rugged cases may also create too much distance between the phone and charging surface.
A conventional silicone or TPU case generally cannot be used with the included adhesive ring because the ring may not remain securely attached. These cases may work if they contain a strong, built-in MagSafe-compatible ring.
Power Requirements
The holder must be connected to a compatible PD or QC 3.0 power source rated at 15 watts or higher. Many factory-installed vehicle USB ports do not provide sufficient power for full-speed wireless charging.
A 20W PD/QC 3.0 USB-C and USB-A car adapter is included for vehicles with a standard 12-volt accessory outlet. A USB-C to USB-C charging cable is also included.
If your vehicle does not have a 12-volt outlet or a suitable high-output USB-C connection, a compatible hardwire kit may be required. An insufficient power source may cause slow, intermittent or unsuccessful charging.
Adjustable Viewing Position
The included 17 mm swivel ball provides tilt adjustment and 360-degree rotation. Position the phone vertically for navigation or rotate it horizontally for a landscape view.
Once you select the desired position, the tightening ring locks the holder in place. The AMPS hole-pattern base allows attachment to A-Tach dash mounts and many other compatible mounting platforms.
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
Wireless charging powers your phone but does not create a wired data connection with the vehicle. If your vehicle requires a USB connection for Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, the phone must still be connected to the appropriate factory USB port.
Vehicles equipped with wireless CarPlay or wireless Android Auto can use those features without a separate data connection, subject to the phone and vehicle’s compatibility.
