This holder needs to be connected with a 15watt or larger PD or QC 3.0 power source.
Most vehicle USB power outputs do not offer this type of power. If your power source does not offer this, consider connecting with the included PD & QC 3.0 Adapter.
If your vehicle does not have a 12 volt (cigarette lighter style) outlet, consider installing this Hard Wire Kit - For 12 & 24 volt vehicles.
Because the holder will not work with the vehicle's USB output, Apple Carplay features might not work with this holder.
A phone in a very thick case such as an OtterBox might not work with this charging holder.
This holder has been tested to work properly before shipping. When the holder is not charging like it should, it is most likely to be due to an incorrect power source.
A thin steel ring is included for customers who have a phone that does not have a built-in ring for magnetic attraction. If the phone does not have a built-in metal ring, this thin metal ring will need to be attached onto the back of the phone or case if the phone is in a case.
Cannot be used with a device in a silicone or TPU case unless the case has a built-in ring. (This device holder uses a very thin metal ring that will need to be attached to the back side of your device or hard case if the device is in a case.)
Should be compatible with most MagSafe cases.

Holds well

I have this in my Mustang Mach E, and it is so convenient. It holds my iPhone 15 in an Apple MagSafe case very well (nice strong magnet), and charged as well. I actually ordered a MagSafe mount from a competitor first, and its magnet was so weak the phone kept falling off. I returned that, bought this one from A-Tach, and am very happy.

Great for Magsafe devices

Got this combined with a X5 mount and so far it's working perfectly. The USB port was able to give it full power and it always swivels from portrait to landscape very easily. Definitely recommend this if you have a Apple Magsafe phone.

Best MagSafe charger I could find

I spent dozens of hours over the course of a month trying to find the perfect solution for a MagSafe mount for a 2025 Subaru Ascent. I emailed Atach Mounts to ask about a lot of specific dimensions, and they were extremely fast and thorough with their response. I ordered it, and it was far better than I expected. The magnet on this charger is MUCH stronger than the OEM MagSafe charger. This does two things: the phone never falls, even on rough terrain. I can now use a third party case that was hit or miss on connecting to MagSafe and charging. This mount immediately grabs the phone/case, doesn’t let go, and charges perfectly. Every time. I screwed it into a Proclips center vent mount, and the screw holes aligned perfectly. I’m sure the Atach mount base works just as well; I just had already drilled holes in my Proclips base and had to go with it. In short, this is the perfect MagSafe charging mount for my needs, and I would highly recommend it over anything else out there. If it exists, I haven’t found it, and I’ve tried no less than 30 mounting configurations for three cars in the past 5 years since MagSafe became a thing. I’ll attach pics of my old setup, which was a Ram Mounts short arm, OEM MagSafe charger holder, and mounting base, all attached to a Proclips base. This is much simpler, far stronger, and I couldn’t be happier. That says a lot, coming from a perfectionist like me.

It has a strong magnet and seems to charge my phone quickly. I like that it can be rotated so the cable can come out the side and not go over any of the car stereo and control buttons.
