Magnetic Holding and Wireless Charging in One Holder
Secure and charge your compatible phone without adjustable arms, clamps or repeatedly connecting a cable to the phone. This magnetic Qi wireless charging holder combines a strong magnetic connection with charging output of up to 15 watts.
Pair it with an A-Tach vehicle-specific dash mount designed around your vehicle’s year, make, model and dashboard. This two-part system provides a stable mounting location while allowing you to choose the holder that matches your phone and charging needs.
An A-Tach vehicle-specific dash mount is purchased separately and is not included.
MagSafe-Compatible Magnetic Connection
The holder is designed to work with most MagSafe-compatible phones and cases. Its circular magnetic array securely holds the phone against the charging surface while keeping the charging coils properly aligned.
For a compatible phone or hard case without a built-in magnetic ring, one thin adhesive steel adapter ring is included. The ring must be centered correctly around the phone’s wireless charging area to provide both a secure hold and proper charging alignment.
Do not use a solid metal plate between the phone and charger, as it can block wireless charging.
Up to 15W Qi Wireless Charging
The holder supports compatible Qi charging rates of 15W, 10W and 7.5W. The actual charging speed is determined by the phone, case, power source, temperature and charging-coil alignment.
For best performance, the holder must be connected to a compatible PD or QC 3.0 power source rated at 15 watts or higher. Many factory-installed vehicle USB ports do not provide enough power for full charging performance.
A 20W PD/QC 3.0 car adapter is included for vehicles with a 12-volt accessory outlet.

Check Your Phone and Case Compatibility

Very thick cases, wallet cases, finger grips, kickstands and other accessories may weaken the magnetic connection or prevent wireless charging. Although the charger can transmit through many compatible cases, a thinner case generally provides better magnetic holding and charging performance.
A conventional silicone or TPU case cannot normally be used with the included adhesive ring because the ring may not remain securely attached. These cases may work if they have a strong, built-in MagSafe-compatible ring.
One-Handed Phone Placement
Simply position the phone against the magnetic charging surface, and the magnets hold it in place. To remove the phone, pull it away from the holder.
Because there are no side arms surrounding the device, the holder does not cover or press the phone’s power and volume buttons. Soft silicone contact surfaces help protect the phone or case from scratches while reducing unwanted movement.
Adjustable Viewing Position
The included 17 mm ball swivel provides tilt adjustment and 360-degree rotation. Position the phone vertically for navigation or rotate it horizontally when a landscape view is preferred.
Once the desired viewing angle is selected, the tightening ring helps lock the holder securely in position.
The AMPS hole-pattern base allows attachment to many compatible mounting platforms, including A-Tach vehicle-specific dash mounts.
Power Requirements
For proper operation, connect the holder to a PD or QC 3.0 power source rated at 15 watts or higher.
The included 20W USB-C and USB-A car adapter plugs into a standard 12-volt vehicle outlet. If the vehicle does not have a 12-volt outlet or a suitable high-output USB connection, a compatible 12- or 24-volt hardwire kit may be required.
An insufficient power source may cause slow, intermittent or unsuccessful charging.
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
Wireless charging powers the phone but does not create a data connection with the vehicle. If your vehicle requires a wired connection for Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, the phone must still be connected to the appropriate factory USB port.
Vehicles equipped with wireless CarPlay or wireless Android Auto can use those features without a separate data cable, subject to the phone and vehicle’s compatibility.
